Crumb Catchers: Wedding Trend Watch

Alright you girls have always been good about letting us know what you think about new wedding trends. We would love to know what you think about this trend that came out last season, but is just beginning to pick up steam (read: it's showing up in places OFF the runway.) We're talking about the "crumb catcher" wedding dresses being made by several designers including Amsale and Kenneth Pool. Whether simple or dramatic, these gowns with fluted bodices are part of the continuing quest for new shapes in wedding dresses.

So what do you think? Is this style a hit or a miss? Could it work on the right bride?

I think it is a hit for less endowed ladies. I would catch a whole chicken in my "crumb catcher" gown!

I love the first one - a lot! Makes me want to marry my hubby all over again. As a "barely A" woman, I appreciate the ruffles that appear to help maximize my bust!

I think that you have to be really confident and comfortable to wear this dress. It is definately not for the bride with a large chest and hips. It is a very pretty shape for someone who is small but shapely.

I think some are cute, now would I wear it is another question. But someone is always going to like something I don't like. I say if you like it, I love it!
