Fairy Tale Accessories: Wedding Trend Alert

What little girl DOESN'T grow up hearing fairy tales? We all did. And then we learned they weren't true. But suddenly one day our prince came along and soon we found ourselves engaged to be married. So, it's no wonder the fairy tale/princess theme is still going strong in today's weddings. It's also one of the easiest motifs to pull off because it can be done with just a few choice accessories. In fact, many of the accessories can be used with lots of other wedding themes for a little extra sparkle. Here are some of the treasures we spotted online:

Fairytale Carriage Cake Topper or Castle Cake Topper

Happily Ever After Slipper Candle Wedding Favor

Happily Ever After Silhouette Place Card Holders

Magic Frog Soap

Anyone can have a ring pillow, but what about a 3-tier ring bearer pillow?

Princess Handbag

Swarovski Flower Necklaces

...and what princess is complete without her tiara?

Love this site! I literally stumbled here while surfing the 'net...

I had a themed wedding on June 20, 2008, and I think that made it so much more pulled together and fun...

My theme was The Garden Tea Party, and I had my wedding at an old "shabby chic" Southern Mansion that had been converted into a tea house...My centerpieces alternated between floral arrangements in tea pots to antique urns, and candles. Guests dined on "southern" cuisine (Fried Chicken, turnip greens, Mac and Cheese, and corn bread ;) )...For favors, we did homemade "tea" cookies and other cookies that were in a "cookie buffet"...

It was a blast! I think everyone should have a themed wedding...

Amazing tiaras. A girl looks like a princess at the time of her wedding and so will she look complete without a tiara. The design is looking so cool, I wanted to have one of those pretty tiara for my wedding too.
