Cocktail Series: Turtle Doves

We knew there was a reason we loved Yahoo! Shine. But this month they gave us a dozen new reasons with the article "12 Days of Cocktails." Here's one we think you can whip up to toast the new year, even though the "second day of Christmas" has passed:

Turtle Doves

Ingredients:
2 oz Van Gogh Vanilla Vodka
2 oz Hazelnut liqueur
1 oz Amaretto
1-1/2 oz Cream or Creme de Cacao

What to do:
Rim martini glass with cinnamon and sugar crystals (or white chocolate flakes) and set aside. Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into the martini glass.

And before you ask- yes, there IS a Partridge in a Pear Tree. Happy New Year!

I really like that idea, but I'm not sure if we're going quite that fancy. Have you heard of folks just doing high-end beers and wines without the champagne or cocktails?

If this is connected to the new website that just launched I just want to say that I'm too broke to be an AABride!LOL

Serving this drink to a room full of people? Um, no. MOST of us are "too broke" for that...lol. We just thought it would be cute for a new years toast with your sweetie. :)

Wow, It is a wide series for mocktails and I love to drink it. I know how to make it and have made at home also once while on my birth day treat at home...
