American actress LisaRaye McCoy Misick is speaking out about her current separation from Turks & Caicos premier Michael Misick.

"Last night, Wednesday August 13, 2008, an attempt was made by and on behalf of my husband to first prevent my entry into our home and then, later, to make me leave our home by force.

It was necessary for me to receive medical treatment for injuries suffered and in relation to those injuries I shall continue to assist the police force with its enquiries.

Whilst it is my sincere wish to avoid unnecessary conflict, I shall not be intimidated, nor shall those individuals whose job it is to protect and represent me."

Just when it seemed actress LisaRaye might be reconciling with her husband, Turks and Caicos Premier Michael Misick, the couple is announcing a separation after 28 months of marriage.
If you've been following the story at all the last couple of months, you've already heard that LisaRaye accused Misick of infidelity after rumors that he was involved with BET personality Rocsi.
In a statement released by his PR rep, Premier Misick said this week, "I am committed to dissolving the marriage amicably." But several Caribbean news outlets are reporting a violent confrontation just yesterday.
