More Help With Trimming Your Wedding Costs

There are a lot of sources for managing your finances while planning the wedding you want. But we really like the Wedding Survival Guide by CBS MoneyWatch. The feature "9 Tricks to Trim Wedding Costs" is especially full of good, solid advice. Hope this helps some of our ladies who, like a lot of us, are managing our champagne tastes in style!

AAB Weekly Reader

This gorgeous photo was swiped from Cassandra Bromfield's latest newsletter in which she recommended our blog (yay!) and several others to her readers. If you're a bride-to-be or a wedding planner, do yourself a favor and sign up for her informative emails. Lots of our bloggy friends also made the list, so it was e-love all around.

Our very own wedding-planner-turned-bride-to-be has fallen in love with a wedding dress. The only problem is that she needs to sell the brand new gown she already has. Pop over to Brittiny's blog to get the details. That dress could be exactly what someone out there is looking for.

Our friends over at Alfred Angelo have chosen their Wedding Dress Diva finalists and now the voting is open. If you want to have a say in who wins the contest, check out the videos and make your choice.

Speaking of competitions, NaturallyCurly.com is hosting a search for perfect wedding hairstyles for naturally curly girls. If you want to show off your look, they would love to hear from you.

Is the cost of today's average wedding really $28,000? Apparently so. But, CBS MoneyWatch has put together a multimedia Wedding Survival Guide covering a variety of topics, including "9 Clever Tricks to Trim Wedding Costs."

Hilarity! Have you heard about the Twitter Wedding? Take a look and tell us what you think. By the way, don't forget to follow us on Twitter for all the latest wedding tweets. Who knows what you might discover. We'll make sure you don't miss a beat.

Nordstrom now has a page on its site dedicated to all things wedding. It offers everything from bridal gowns and bridesmaid gowns to flower girls dresses and ring bearer outfits.

We just learned that African-American Brides has been selected to be a featured blog on hellocotton. If you haven't heard of hellocotton yet, you will. It's a social hangout designed to help women discover the greatest blogs on the 'net all in place. Click below to check out our digs over there:
